Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Asked ("the Service"), a cloud-hosted interview copilot for hiring teams. The Service deploys AI-powered bots to join candidate video calls, transcribes the conversation in the cloud, and generates structured scorecards against your rubric. By creating an account or using Asked you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Asked provides: (a) cloud bot deployment via Recall.ai that joins candidate video calls and produces a transcript, (b) AI scorecard generation using xAI Grok models that turns each session into rubric-scored evidence, (c) a hiring dashboard for managing candidates, roles, and interview sessions, and (d) bi-directional sync with Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby. All processing happens in the cloud. There is no desktop application and no on-device processing.
2. Your Account and Seats
A Asked subscription is licensed per interviewer seat. Each seat covers one human user within your workspace. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and workspace access controls confidential, and for ensuring that only authorized personnel can view interview transcripts and candidate records within your organization.
3. Subscription, Interview Minutes, and Billing
Asked is billed on a per-seat basis, monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Interview minutes are metered: the meter runs while the Recall.ai bot is live in the call and stops when the bot leaves. Minutes are billed in arrears at the end of each billing cycle. Paused or idle sessions that have no active bot do not accrue metered charges. Enterprise pricing is available by written order form.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Interview minutes already consumed are non-refundable.
4. Your Content and Candidate Data
You own the interview transcripts, scorecards, rubrics, and candidate records generated through the Service. We store this content in the cloud on your behalf to deliver the Service. We do not train any model on your interview content or candidate data. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of candidate data complies with applicable employment, privacy, and anti-discrimination law.
5. ATS Integrations
When you connect Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby, Asked reads job-posting and candidate data to populate roles, rubrics, and panel assignments, and writes finalized scorecards back. Sync is controlled per workspace and can be revoked at any time from Settings. Your ATS credentials are stored encrypted in our cloud database and used only to complete the sync you configure.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Asked to:
- Record any candidate or panelist without the consent legally required in your jurisdiction.
- Capture interview content you are contractually or legally barred from recording.
- Make hiring decisions in a manner that violates anti-discrimination law in any jurisdiction where you operate.
- Reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the Service without written permission from Asked.
- Attempt to access, modify, or delete data belonging to another workspace or organization.
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or violate the rights of candidates, panelists, or any other person.
7. Consent and Recording Laws
Asked deploys a bot that joins a video call and records the conversation. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable recording, wiretap, and candidate-notice laws, including obtaining all required consents from candidates and other participants before the bot joins the call. Many jurisdictions require explicit notice or affirmative consent before recording. Asked provides the tooling; the consent obligation is yours.
8. Intellectual Property
Asked, including the Service software, scorecard models, prompts, and infrastructure, is owned by Daily Automations and licensed to you for use under these Terms. We retain all rights in the product itself. You retain all rights in your interview content, rubrics, and scorecards.
9. Service "As Is"
Asked is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the bot will successfully join every call, that transcripts will be complete or accurate, that scorecard outputs will be free of errors, or that ATS sync will be uninterrupted. AI-generated scorecards are tools to assist human judgment. Hiring decisions remain the responsibility of the interviewer and the employer.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost revenue, hiring outcomes, or errors in AI-generated scorecard content.
11. Termination
You may stop using Asked at any time by cancelling your subscription from the billing settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for non-payment. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data before your account is deleted.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
